Yes you are correct. Whatever the buildings real purpose was it is located on the grounds of the Alley Springs state park in the Missouri Ozarks. I have visited this park several times and it offers several scenic views to choose from, some of which I have posted before.
Thanks for mentioning that. I had never noticed the chicken before you commented on it. The photo is from Great Smoky NM at a visitor guest stop.
