St. Pancras Station and the Renaissance Hotel, London
I'm not obsessd with taking shots with my iPhone but it's all I had on me this morning on my way to an appointment. I took this shot at about 09.30. For those who don't know it, St. Pancras station and hotel was designed by William Henry Barlow and opened in 1868. The roof of the station was in its time, the largest of its kind in the world with a span of 245 ft 6 in (74.83 m). The hotel, originally the Grand Midland is now the Renaissance Hotel and is built in the splendor of the Victorian Gothic

I have past this station and hotel so many times I have lost count and taken many railway photographs in the station as well as many trips to Europe on Eurostar going through the channel tunnel

Lovely capture of a beautiful place!
Thank you Ourspolair and joecichjr for your kind comments. I'm surprised that the shot came out as well as it did but I really must try with a proper camera one of these days.
Well, here's the same subject, taken at almost the same time but the following day, but this time with my faithful Canon P&S. It's surprising how well the iPhone stands up against the competition.
Here's another view taken from an almost opposite angle. Not as succesful as the other one

Beautiful, clean area
I imagine there are a lot of crowds later in the day...
The shot was taken about 09.30 and I waited for the traffic lighs to stop the traffic and leave me a clear shot of the building. It's a very busy road usually filled with buses, trucks and cars.
I'm constantly astonished at the quality of the photos that one can take with an iPhone (iPhone 10 in my case).
