Three of us live in a small satellite house about 200 yards from the large community. As covid became problematic and each of us had the need to periodically celebrate Mass via Zoom we converted a small sunporch into a chapel.

I've celebrated several Masses via zoom as well as doing a recent a day of recollection for a group of physicians using the chapel. Used an Olympus EM1 mkii mounted on a tripod as a webcam with an external microphone attached to the computer. Olympus offers free software that is easy to use so as to be able to use the camera as a webcam. Needed a few cables that were inexpensive and splurged on an A/C adapter to save battery life during longer liturgies. NB. The EM1 mk ii or iii requires the battery grip if using an A/C adapter.

The experience of "zooming" with a camera and an external mic is much more pleasant than using the built-in camera and mic on a laptop. With the camera set for movie, continuous autofocus, and 12-15 mm, the field of view is perfect. Many have commented on the quality of the image. One friend was blown away by the speed and accuracy of the continuous autofocus.

Woke early this AM. Went down and decided to do some shooting before saying Mass. The illumination was only the candles. Used the EM1 mk ii with an f/2.8 12- 40 pro lens mounted on tripod. Flowers were a gift from my college roommate and his wife.

Beautiful shots, especially through the window. The light really suits the atmosphere.

Very nice and appropriate. I had COVID and my wife is quite ill now with it so a few prayers for Linnea would be appreciated. Stay well.
