We got our immunity the hard way also I would urge everyone to get the vaccine because you do not want to get immunity the hard way as it could go the wrong way and you will die, we have way to many people in this country that are brain dead and brain washed.
NEVER! Check to see what exactly they put in the mix to make the vaccine, mostly you will never get the truth, but find out. Also you might think about how you will react...everyone is different

Do you understand the mechanism of how these vaccines work? There is plenty of factual information available on mRNA vaccines in general and the current Covid vaccines in particular IF you care to look - just Google it. Of course actually reading and understanding IS more work than labeling medicine and science (and everything else you don’t understand or agree with) as “fake news”.

I’m confused about the allergy thing. My wife is allergic to shellfish and bee stings. She’s 70. I had/have a penicillin allergy which arose when I was 19; now I’m 75. I had hives on my wrists when I was 19. Does that qualify or are they talking about more serious allergies.
I have another dilemma. We are going to Florida January 11th. I guess I couldn’t qualify now because I wouldn’t be here in NY for the second shot. Do you think I’d be able to get them in FL?
Not exactly in a rush because I want to see what other complications might arise.
I got a mild case. My wife was not so lucky and after about 10 nerve wracking days is now being weened from the respirator. We both got our immunity they hard way.

In Britain two early volunteer’s with a history of severe allergic reactions and multiple allergies (not one or two allergies) had a severe allergic reaction to the the vaccine (out of the thousands who received it). Both people lived.
Remember when people who refused to wear a mask were being vilified? They were accused of killing others despite any scientific evidence that the mask is effective against the virus. The vaccine has gone through stringent approvals yet there is no uproar against those who say they will not take the vaccine.

They don't know what the exact reason why those 2 people had reactions. The best thing you can do is to talk to your doctor. If he/she doesn't have the information to answer your questions they have the best resources for getting those answers. If you or your wife has an allergy doctor they will be the ones doing the most to get that information to help protect their patients.
