Wow, I did not expect so many opinions! In this day of online shopping, there are only a few ways to receive a shipment. I received my lens today and it looks and is working like new. Very happy. I have not, however heard anything from Fed Ex. I think I may call the location I sent it from and see If they can give me an update. Wish me luck.
There are actually two Fed Ex. The original overnight delivery and now what is Fed Ex Ground.
Collecting insurance claims from FedEx can be difficult to impossible. They completely destroyed an insured item. So far they just ignore the claim. If you get anything from them consider yourself lucky.
