I like the intensity of the color here, mostly in the second one. I can see why it fascinated you, too!

I also added a little color pop to the scheme of things, I added food coloring to a few of the drops on the disc, back and front light and voila!!

Very cool!! And what made you think to try this? I would have never tried this. and I see the colors on CD's all the time and think, pretty.:) Well done!

I was on another forum and a lady had attempted it, but not with a macro lens, she shot from far away and captured multiple water droplettes, I then thaught- "closer" should give more vibrant colors, no flash and i used a CIR-PL filter for contrast enhancement and my new macro lens! voila!! Im glad you like them!
