So you want to make 2.5 million American votes stopped on technicalities. Goodbye to democracy. Remember there were Republican as well as Democrat voters who posted their votes in or do you just want to discriminate against Democrats.

I wonder why this story keeps being referenced here or anywhere else. The Texas official behind this court action is himself once convicted and still facing a criminal indictment. Additionally, one state has no standing to sue another state as to how that state carried out its implementation of an election. Watch this one go nowhere.

When will this clownish Trump era end?

The US Supreme Court has in one sentence denied consideration of Trumps Pennsylvania overturn court case.

I suggested to my neighbor who accused me of being a Commie that I have never had private conversations and expressed love for Putin and leaders of China and N Korea both of which are devoted to communism, but his god, Trump, has had many.

At this time I suggested to my neighbor that true Trump loyalists, Trumpites, could consider commit suicide in mass. The "fake news" would keep Trump's fame alive for the 2024 election. He replied saying he would never do that, so [surprise not, !!!] even that self-proclaimed Trumpite had a limit.

Perhaps without football to take sides and cheer, Trump is a substitute.

--------------- NEWS ---------------------------
"President Trump had predicted that the Supreme Court would finally decide who won this year's presidential election, but if so, he lost again on Tuesday. Without comment or dissent, the high court turned away the first appeal from Trump supporters to reach the high court, a claim by several Pennsylvania Republicans who said the state's election results should not be certified."

I think their goal is to discriminate against illegal acts.

Missouri wasn’t included in the lawsuit yet - we had mail in voting and virtually no excuse absentee voting also .

No notary required for those:

are 65 or older.
have serious heart conditions.
are immunocompromised.
have liver disease.
live in a long-term care facility.
have chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma.
have chronic kidney disease and are undergoing dialysis.
have diabetes.

We had mail-voting in Florida too. I guess Florida is not an issue however, because Trump won in Florida.

Yep pretty obvious the reason is pure partisan political using any excuse available . I added the reasons for NOT needing a notarized envelope

Would those be the same 'technicalities' that caused judges to deny some of the lawsuits?? The objective is to correct illegal, unconstitutional changes to the states voting laws and toss out illegal votes. You know, the ones from unregistered voters, dead people, dogs, late ballots, harvested ballots, etc.

I hope SCOTUS sticks to righting wrongs and throws out all illegal votes. Let those who created illegal laws be punished in their next reelection bid. It’s the American way...

The same arguments have been presented to the courts in each of the states, and dismissed. The arguments are without merit whether the state courts hear them or the Supreme Court. The is a play by Trump to incite his idiots into thinking these cases warrant Supreme Court scrutiny. They don’t’, but fuels the false narrative in a big way. Trump is a con-man, without scruples.. At this point, he knows he lost by the will of the American voter, but thinks he should be President despite that. He doesn’t respect the Constitution or democracy.

Controversy elevates the message.

Wrong that may be the excuse but the “objective “ is to eliminate votes that carried Biden to victory.

Be honest at least !!
