Go to Nikons site at this URL: https://www.nikonimgsupport.com/ni/NI_home?ctry=US&lang=en_US Begin typing D850 or D500, and you'll see a list of the approved memory cards. Now that being said, I purchased a delkin 64gb that was NOT on the list and it works just fine.
