Very lucky the bison were there--made a good foreground
It is a nice image but I would like to offer some suggestions to improve on it. If you like it like it is simply ignore me.
In the first place, the image needs a color correction. Lots of blue cast that should not be there. I would clone the bison in the far left if the image was mine. You cut part of the barn, I would not have done that. Perhaps a wider view would have been a more interesting shot by changing the perspective.
It is a nice image that can be made better.
The image was made over 10 years ago--with a cheap camera. I didn't get into photography till later. I realize there a number of changes I would have made if I knew what I knew now. We all learn more each year and skills increase with each photo . I wish I had my Canon 5DSR with my Sigma Art lens 10 years ago. I agree with the barn and to back up and get the mountains better but I still like it. In fact after looking at it again and again I am making a 20x16 glass acrylic. For me it was a magical day in this beautiful valley of wildflowers with bison calfves with their mothers juxtaposed against the veil of wild flowers. Sometimes technical stuff doesn't matter.
Interesting post process, great composition. Would like to see the orininal to compare!
It was taken with a super zoom camera(Jpeg)(low dynamic range) Had to try and bring out the mountains)(did the best I could)
A beautiful shot that can be a little better with the mountains completely in view. However, there is a peace involved with seeing how all the nature and human elements are in harmony, so maybe it's already perfect.
Looks like a painting. Nice work, LEW.
Wow. That’s all I got to say. I, too, thought it was somewhat overprocessed until reading when it was made and what was used. Now I’m of the opinion it’s simply a fantastic photo.
