Great find David and well shot!
Great shots. I really liked the inside wood work. Cozy n comfy. I wonder if someone rings the steeple bell Sunday morning. One would hope.
Great tour, David, thanks.
Hi, Doug. My grandparents in Arkansas had a 2-holer out back and I’ve used it several times when I was a kid. Never enjoyed it. Sears or Wards catalogues for paper, of course. I don’t know when I’ll get back to Arkansas again. Both my parents are buried at Pleasant Grove, a little town on AR-14 between Mountain View and Batesville. Interesting story about your old church.
Delderby, don’t think I’ve run into you before. Nice to see you. No, those were 2 different outhouses.
blacks2, thank you for the 4 thumbs. I’m glad you liked them.
Stash, thank you very much for the nice comment and the thumbs.
Hello, phlash46. Thanks a lot for your comment. I’m pleased you liked it.
bob7fred, I think you’re new to me, also. Thank you for the nice words. I don’t know about the bell.
Earnest, so glad you liked this set. Thanks a lot.

Wow! The years of faith that church must have seen! And a nice commodious outhouse, too. Very sturdy!

Thanks for looking! Two outhouses (I didn't look inside). The piano was in fair tune, so I think the church may have still been in use.
What a wonderful old country church (except the restroom) and well maintained. Nice exterior and interior shots, Dean.
A great find. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting find, David, I don't think I have ever seen church windows with curtains!
Very nice set David. Quite different from the elaborate church interiors of your usual posts.
John, nice to hear from you. Thanks for the nice words. (My name is David, though.)
Hi, Rick. Thanks very much. I'm glad you liked it.
Joe, yes, it is unusual. I don't believe I've ever seen curtains before, either.
srfmhg, I agree it's not as aesthetic as most of the churches I post, but I don't judge when I decide to make a post--I like churches, simple or elegant.
