Putting things on my Christmas list. Do any of you have any recommendations for a portable one person photo blind for taking pics of birds or other wildlife?
Tragopan makes a high-quality blind.
Thanks for the link. Is this a quick pop up type? Have to slide poles in like a tent or they stay in it when packed? Thanks in advance for any feed back.

Wow! Tragopan makes a whole series of blinds for photographers. Never heard of them before. They are a little bit more pricey than some, but they also look like that are durable and designed specifically for photographers. Thanks for the recommendation.
Here's a video of one of their blinds.

Thanks for responding, digit-up. Is the one you are referring to called the Ameristep Outhouse Blind?
So that serves two purposes?

Sets up in less than 5 seconds, there are two additional roof poles for the roof but I never use them.
Pops open so fast you kinda have to be careful. Easily fits my grandson and myself both on stools.
Folds up to about 2’ circle 4 to 5” deep. Weighs 8.5lbs.
Mine came with a back pack style bag. I’ve had mine for over 10 yrs and it’s still in good shape but I don’t leave it out when not in use.
Good luck, have fun!
I have the Outhouse Blind and it works well. Bad naming - for a long time I thought they meant it to be an outhouse. All 4 sides have zippered openings. One fully for entrance/exit. Rain proof. Comes with stakes to pin it to the ground in the wind. I use a folding chair or field stool inside. Can be stood up in to get a stretch.
Any hunting supply store should have portable blinds used by Turkey hunters.

Here is another alternative that I use all the time. Just buy a large came sheet, and cut a star pattern opening for your lens (not a hole). Throw if over you and you have your own blind. I prefer the non leafy cut. You may prefer the leafy cut. Mine is from polyester material as I can see thru it most of the time. Burlap is too thick and hot for Texas. About $15 and it is light in weight.
