Opps, too late - we ordered to pre-cooked turkey breasts from a local market that does a good job.

Happy Thanksgiving

When I was in high school/college in the early/mid 70's I managed a mom and pop pizza shop. Never could talk the owner into closing on Thanksgiving. He did alter the hours to something like 5-11pm. Slowest day ever.

I used to drive past a farmer's feed lot (steers) that had a large round hay bale on the other side of the road. It sat with the round end facing the road and the ends were "decorated" with the head and tail of a turkey sticking up from the bale. There was a large sign saying "eat beef."

Like the Chic-fil-a cows saying "Eat Mor Chikin" Except their PR firm being city boys didn't know that those attention grabbing black and white cows were dairy cattle, not beef cattle.
