Wildlife at the LBL National Recreation Area

LBL is short for Land Between the Lakes, an approximately 170,000 acre national recreation area that lies between Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake in the states of Kentucky and Tennessee. I was unaware there were pelicans there.

Thank you. I've been up and down I57 countless times and I know Charleston is not that far from Mattoon.

I always wanted to make a trip by water to the lakes, but three things stopped me. 1: my boat was to small. 2: didn't have the time, had to work ya know. 3: Couldn't find anyone crazy enough to go with me.The only things that have changed are 1: I don't have a boat 2:I now have the time, but not the money.
So maybe Sharon and I will be able to make it by car when all of this Covid crap is over.
