Looking for a new tripod.
Hey group, I am looking to purchase a new carbon-fiber tripod. Do any of you know anything about INNOREL tripods.
I have the Innorel 90c. I love it. Professional all the way. Use it with Canon mark iv with Tamron g2 150-600mm. Supports this combination with ease. Very well designed and built. Use it for wildlife photography. I have no regrets about my purchase. If you buy anything similar with the same specs you'll spend upwards to 1000.00.

I couldn't find it at Adorama or B&H. I've never heard of it. I've heard Gitzo is one of the better ones though.

There are many, many, many fine carbon-fiber tripods on the market. One of the best ways to buy one is to actually see it and handle it, put your camera on it, see how it works. Are the legs easy to lock and are they secure when they lock. How easy is it to carry around with you. Do you want to mount a ball head, tilt head, or gimbal head? Does it allow you to attach weight under it. Do you want one for close up's, in that case, does the center post reverse. Make sure you get one high enough for you WITHOUT having to raise the center post.
Getting a tripod is a lot like buying shoes, if you don't try them on first you may be disappointed.
Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.
How tall are you? Will you ever shoot on uneven ground? Will you shoot in or around the shore?
Lots of things can determine what is right for...you.
I purchased this one and it is top of the line and half the price of a Gitzo. No center column (thankfully), but extends to 79.5". I'm 6'1" and it sets up perfectly for me without using the last leg extension....which means...super stable. If I have an incline or a drop-off...I have plenty of extension left for one or two legs.

If you are into landscapes & panoramas the leveling base with this makes leveling the camera so much(10 fold) easier. ich I prefer over the pano option on say the RRS ball head because if you do a multi row pano it can be a pain. Something to think about when you purchase a tripod. Good luck with your choice.

Ron,
I purchased an Innorel RT-90C from Amazon about a year ago. It's a Fantastic Tripod even at twice the price. Because it has a 75mm bowl, I was able to also purchase a center column for it (actually from a LeoFoto brand, now Innorel sells their own) that I can use if needed. I've dragged this tripod thru hell and back and it works like the day I bought it. I will tell you this though; its a beast of a tripod and its not particularity light. It has some heft to it. If your intent is to use it as a travel tripod you might look at a different model. This handles my D810 with a 150-600mm Tamron G2 lens on a Nest Gimble effortlessly. Best $300.00 I ever spent. (and I'm not affiliated with Innorel in any way)

Hi Gary, thanks for the input, also looking at an Innorel the LT324C, the 90's "little brother" You mentioned you found a center column for the 75mm bowl, which model Leofrotto if you don't mind.
Thank you so much!
Center columns are the weak point of any tripod.
Check out the Induro tripod line. I have two of them, a series 2 and a series 4.
Outdoor photo gear has Induro tripods at 25% off. Black friday7

I purchased the center column from eBay (pre-owned) for $49.00. Here's the sellers description: Leofoto DC-404C CF Center Column - Gitzo Series 5 Systematic (85mm) Compatible. (wait... Im confused now, the description say 85mm not 75mm. I hope Im not giving you bogus information)
By the way, here's a link to the Innorel Center Column.
https://www.amazon.com/Column-INNOREL-Mid-Column-Professional-Extension-Camcorder/dp/B08CDJ3BMHLooks like it was made for this tripod. (although who knows, maybe Leofoto, and Innorel are made in the same factory). I have no idea.

I have the Innorel RT-90C; great tripod, especially for heavy rigs; very stable even in high wind. On the other hand, it's a monster; heavy to lug around compared with RRS, Gitzo, or FLM.
