When I saw the Puffin photos today, I decided to share some photos taken in May of 2019 on a trip to the lonly, uninhabited Isle of Lunga. Our Scottish Dream Tours group left Tobymore on a typical Scottish day-chilly, windy and spitting rain. After an adventuresome landing with a temporary walkway, our group hiked to the summit to visit the Puffins. These birds migrate to this island annually from the North Atlantic to mate and nest. The Puffins are incredibly unafraid of humans, attributed by our guides to the fact that humans scare off predators. The pictures were taken with a Canon Elph 330 which I purchased from another Hogger before our trip. Settings varied from picture to picture. Post processing primarily with Luminar 4.
I hope you enjoy these little fellows as much as we did.

That post got me looking through my Puffin pics from my 2018 trip to England and Scotland to see/shoot those cuties. Lunga was one of the high points. What a hike up that cliff, though. Thanks for sharing your pics and bringing back memories.
