I couldn't agree more about the contrail shadow- of course that's the first time I'd ever seen one so I had to try to capture it.

...shots are fine, color is not. You need to end-process in sRGB to get that right *before* download (it's a web thing). I've been wrestling for years with the "other" color gamuts and finally decided to just use sRGB...nobody but nobody noticed when I did that.
