I Wondered what was approaching when I saw these people advancing towards me.
A blessing really it added lovely bright colours "DOWNLOAD' to the image.....My friend
and coach's patience is showing better images from me. I am realising what a fool I have
been for many years using high quality camera gear on auto. Call me an idiot I deserve it..

Lovely and bold! I’m not sure I could wear those bright colors in public! 😂
The dog doesn’t seem to have figured the whole fancy joggerrette thing out!
Well, that’s interesting!

If cameras did not have an AUTO setting, then why is it there? The reason why I use an AUTO setting, is to capture a shot quickly. The I can jigger around to get an even better shot. As for calling yourself an “idiot,” you are not one. You are one of many who is satisfied with a photo taken on AUTO. There is nothing wrong with that because photography is a form of personal expression.
Another habit I have, is pressing the shutter two or three times in succession moving slightly to the left and right without “chimping” between shots. I feel that when a photographer stares at the LCD screen, valuable time and photographs are lost forever.
But that is in my humble opinion.

Thanks for your comment, maybe I didn't explain myself properly, I'm sorry. You are perfectly correct in what you say. I have been satisfied with Auto Settings for many tears, but since my friendly teacher explained a hell of a lot to me, I am getting getting far more pleasure from my hobby and I can see the difference and it has improved. You mentioned the LCD screen, I have never used that, except for checking the result of the recent shot. I always use the viewfinder.

I love photography because it is hard to take a bad photograph. Everything is open to interpretation.
I think with a few “cheers and beers” I’ll be able to take photos like that.
Your coach should have mentioned that you need a faster shutter speed to stop the motion blur in moving things.... your focus is dead on but 1/60s is not quite fast enough to "freeze" their action... I would give you 80 out of 100... :)

Oh believe me, there are plenty of "bad" photographs.

I was just being polite and considerate.

Interesting and different shot. What is the occasion, if any? Thanx for sharing.

It could have been a sponsored run, or something like that, there was just the three of them. As you can imagine it was a surprise to see them. I never had chance to reset my settings, they just kept on jogging.
