Where are the Canon Christmas Rebates?

In previous years both B&H and Adorama have rolled out some pretty impressive Christmas bundles on Canon gear, things like a basically free PIXMA Pro 10 printer in addition to substantial savings.... Are they coming this year?

They may not have them ready yet. I got an email today announcing Tamron rebates through the end of November.

Yeah, you're probably right, that R5 is probably just a piece of junk anyway, the R was definitely a miss, so maybe I should have no faith that the R5 would be any better. Toilet paper sounds like a better idea.

Just a few weeks ago, Canon was essentially giving away new copies EOS 5DSR. Wasn't that discount enough?

Yes, that is what I am afraid of and Canon has made my used gear almost worthless, I used to think when I upgrade I could lesson the blow by selling some of my current gear, Canon has pretty much ruined that idea, I own both the 5DSR and the EOS R and the retail price of each has dropped significantly, the EOS R price drop was just after I traded for it by giving up a 500/4 in a package deal with a few extra goodies. Although I like the mirrorless, I can't abide by the controls on the R, thankfully Canon has pretty much gone back to the same controls that were found on the 5D series.

The only thing is that while one dollar bills make marginally acceptable toilet paper, one dollar coins don’t work too well. 😂
I worked with a surveyor in Alaska who only carried silver dollars because he was afraid that if he got drunk he would use paper money as toilet paper. BTW, he also was a Morman who happened to like his booze.
