A long title, but hard to shorten!
A few (or maybe several) months ago, I viewed and downloaded a video that dealt with the use of foreground, midground, and background in composing photos. Now I can't find the video and would appreciate any help in locating it.
The presenter used a painting if I recall correctly to demonstrate his points. The painting had a road in the foreground, some buildings and perhaps some water in the midground, and mountains (I think) in the background. It was an excellent example of composition. Sorry to be so vague about the details, but my memory of the details in the video is a little hazy!
I have googled more or less the title of this post without success, and the video is definitely not on my computer. I want to show the video to a photo group that I belong to, and wondered if any of you reading this post had seen this video.
At least you didn't say "Looking for info."...!

Here's one of my better compositions maybe you can talk your way through it.
Sorry I could not help a fellow Canadian! There are hundreds of not thousands of online and published book tutorials on landscape photography feature examples of painting as a reference. Without the name of the author, title or other identifying information it's nearly impossible to hoe in on a specific item. When I Googles "Tutorial on Landscape Photography Using Paintings as Reference" this is a typical link:
https://photohere.com/tips-master-landscape-photography/Other searches or subject you may want to research are areas like foreground framing, perspective, rule of thirds, lines leading the viewers' eye to the major point of interest, theme, or motif of the image. In landscape and architectural photography, as to composition, there are many "traditions and rules" that are good start points but many outstanding wors deviate greatly from these norms.
Here are two more links that may assist you in your research:

Thank you Shellback. No I did see this one, but the video I remember was more geared towards photography. I appreciate your effort.

Thanks E.L. Shapiro, fellow Canadian!
I did Google, and like you found thousands of hits, but surprisingly very few videos, none of them the one that I remember. Of course, I can't remember the name of the presenter or if it was a YouTube video or from some other source! I was sure that I had downloaded the video, but it is nowhere to be found on any of my hard drives.
I will keep looking.

Hi, Fifer!
Sorry that I can’t help you relocate your video of interest, BUT ... I just watched this 1h 19m long Webinar live a few weeks ago. Although it was sponsored by Singh-Ray, little of it pertained to the use of filters. Rather, it was mostly about composition for landscape photography and definitely discussed your current area of interest!
