One way of adding interest to a shot is to frame the subject. Most often used are architectural items (windows, doors, arches), and geologic or other natural frames (natural arches, trees etc.) I am looking forward to seeing some of your obvious and subtle frames in your photography.

A few of my attempts: The Grand Canyon, Natural Bridges and Chaco Canyon

I was at one of my favorite bridges the other day trying to find something to frame.

I was watching this towboat to frame under the bridge, but I don't think I ever got it right.

p.8 Some pretty interesting frames, Karin. Like the contrasts between angular and arcing frames.
