OK I will make an offer. $25 for the EF 24-70 plus shipping. I am assuming since there is no minimum price posted that if it is the only offer then it is your best offer. PM me for payment info.

Come everyone give him a break. You don’t know his situation and I’m not assuming either. We have enough meanness and difficulty in this country to go around so let’s be kind to our fellow hogger and maybe try and help him out to sell his equipment. And if you don’t have anything nice to say about this post of mine then move on please.

You are actually the first to make an offer despite the many replies. I already have an offer of over $400 but thanks for your inquiry. Bob

I'm asking for best offer. Bob

Hey Bob55, some friendly advice.... my grandpa helped me buy my first car 50 years ago. I found a 1967 Camaro listed in the paper, but no mention of price. When I asked what he thought, the reply has always stuck with me. He said, "if the seller is afraid of the price, so am I!"

Stop asking us to guess. Either list what you need to get out of the sale or what mpb offered. What you perceive as "the best price" will differ greatly from my price.

That said, I am willing to pay $1000 total for the camera and 24-105 lens, plus shipping costs. Since you offer no pictures of the equipment and no details about the use or wear and tear or any form of grading, I must insist on a 14 day return policy, with you paying the return shipping. I want the best condition, lowest shutter count I can get, at the best price.

The body alone, if it’s in decent shape, would be a great deal at $1500 or even more. $1000 for the body and lens would be taking advantage of this member!

Here’s what we have.... You have a “so-called” seller who refuses to divulge any information about the items including asking price except that he wants as much as he can get. “Make me an offer” is an invitation for a lengthy bidding exchange that could last forever. “Trust me and make an offer, and if I don’t like it, I won’t counter.... you can make another offer...” Bob, if you don’t have a target price that you’re willing to share, then you’re wasting time for a lot of people including yourself.

Never seen such a difficult sale on this site. No pictures (we know you have a camera) and the lack of prices doesn’t help much either.
Good luck.

I saw some Canon 5D's with 24-105 for a range of $800-1200 on ebay. I thought it was a fair offer. I'm a Nikon guy, so I don't know the best price on Canon equipment. My best friend and golf buddy is a Canon guy. Thought I would surprise him for his birthday in December. But he's not friend enough to go over $1000.
