Actually that is not correct. There is software out there that can be downloaded to get a shutter count for Canon Cameras. I believe it is free. Actually I just found it, "shutter count". Google it and you should be able to download it. I am of the opinion however that too many people shy away from purchasing used cameras because of relatively high shutter actuations. Its my understanding the cost of replacing a shutter is relatively inexpensive.
