So before the election it was a political issue. Now after it’s not; miss me

You need to quit seeing people that are cautious , follow guidelines of masking and distancing as “ living in fear “
Cautious isn't the same. I know fear when I see it.

Don’t confuse trumpsters with facts, they no longer have the ability to distinguish fact from fiction! I don’t even try anymore.

What will lame duck Trump say about it?
Will he admit now that the pandemic was never a priority for him?
Right now, Trump’s closest people are negotiating for an exile in a country without an extradition policy. The transaction will involve top secret information given freely by Trump to pay his way.

It never should have been political.
It will be ‘political’ only if people make it so.

Twas Trump that made it political.
So, after the election...maybe it won't be any more...

Not everywhere. You are addicted to panic. The virus isn't going to be stopped by wearing masks and washing hands. It will run its course and eventually be gone like all others. Take precautions but don't let it rule your life.
"More testing = more cases is pure trump style nonesense"
That's how it works slick. Simple. And it has nothing to do with Trump. The tests are far from foolproof and if I were a betting person I'd bet there are and have been far more cases than the number they are giving us.

Here in lower NYS the hospitals aren’t overwhelmed or overloaded. Everyone wears a mask and social distances. In NYC truckers, construction workers, etc all wear them. Even the bikers wear masks (often with interesting slogans) and urge you (strongly) to wear them. Everyone from the least to the toughest wear them. Positivity rate around here hovers between 1-2%. There have been bad mistakes and those responsible will be held accountable in the next election. Everyone here knows someone who died or was very sick with permanent problems.
Anyone who thinks the virus is nothing is a fool. Anyone who thinks masks don’t work is even more of a fool. All I have to do is look out my window to know this. Masks are a tool that for preventing infection, not a political statement.

I wear one even though I have trouble breathing with it on.

Yeah it’s about as fun as a root canal - don’t like the air restrictions either. It works.

One positive - I am now a blazingly fast shopper and less likely to buy what I don’t really need.

Actually makes me sweat...within ten minutes or so. Can't imagine having to wear one all day at a job!
I guess the body adapts though.
I am so blessed to work from home...when I want to work.
Masks are only for public excursions!

It was made political and it would appear that it decided an election because it was made politcal..

How did Trump make it political? He left it to the states like he should have. It is Pelosi that held up aid and Biden that wanted illegal national mandates.

Then please explain why states with no mask mandates are doing as well or better than states with mandates. If mandates work that would not be true.
