Beautiful set, Clark. They look like plates from an Audubon volume. Love the creamy bokeh.

Thanks very much, Joe. Thatโ€™s high praise. And, unlike Audubon, I didnโ€™t need to kill the birds in order to draw them! I credit the lens (and the fall colors) for the bokeh. I was shooting at f4.

Thanks, Stash. Youโ€™re in the same general area, so maybe you see these guys around as well?

Very nice! I would keep the tree. At least one of your birds in an invasive species as well.

Hmmm, I wonder if there is a connection... Thanks for an excuse not to go out and chop down the tree!

A Euonymus tree next to our house and garden fence started producing berries, and an impressive variety of birds stopped by to have breakfast. Horticulturalists will tell you that the Euonymus is an invasive species here in Massachusetts and should be removed, but darn it brings the birds.

All taken with a D500 and a 300mm PF lens.

Great photos! Sharp and compositions excellent!

Many of the same ones Clark. They show up at the bird feeders.
