Terlingua, Texas ...a small town outside of Big Bend National Park
Cool series B&W is the perfect medium. There are many little cemeteries like that around the desert southwest.
Love those B&W renderings. How did I miss this when I was around Big Bend? Must of been the haste going up to Mustang Island. Great excuse to return when this Covid issue is at least partially resolved. Great work. Please stay well and keep on posting.
Strong compositions, great subjects for b&w. I like these a lot!

Very nicely done. The B&W is perfect for your subject. My husband and I really enjoy walking through old cemeteries wherever we travel. Personally, I like to imagine the interesting lives of the people buried in each one.
Thank you all. We stayed in Terlingua for two nights when we went to Big Bend. B&W was perfect, even though I prefer it anyway, as I could only go to the cemetery midday and nothing but sun not a cloud in the sky.
Very nice set B&W was the perfect medium for this set
Wonderful! I've been to several similar cemeteries in New Mexico. Great choice of B&W and ideas for Texas travel too. Thanks.
Excellent work. Last one is evocative.

Were any of the graves marked with names or dates. Very nice shots.
I can hear the theme to the Good, the Bad, & the Ugly playing in the background.
Thank you all very much. Yes, there were white a few with names and dates. Some were as recent as a couple years ago
Jerry Jeff Walker had an album in the 70's named "Viva Terlingua." Great album. He died the other day. Bet he would'a loved to be buried there. Fat chance.
Thanks for the photos.

The first two didn't do that much for me, but the last three picked up, and the last one is the best of all.
