The Ar platform while being ugly, (I really like the traditional rifles better, but I own four Ar's in different calibers) and they are a blast to shoot.

How do you like the AR? Quality differs on many but some like my Rock River Arms will keep shots under 1/2 inch at 100 yards. Excellent firearms for the area you live.

That's my scope from my 30-06! Told him I want my scope back....it's an awesome scope! And yes we are heading to the sporting goods store today to get one for the AR

Thanks! It's tough getting the focus correct when shooting thru the snow..took a lot that were not in focus..Oh wait...I'm not supposed to confess that am I!

Thanks! It is a little early for the snow and it looks like it's here to stay for the winter....cold front for the next couple of weeks and more snow predicted....which is going to make for a very long winter!
