Ouray never disappoints regardless of the season. Some areas were full on color, others had a fair amount of green left. Then we got above tree line and it is still awesome! Then there is the last photo I call more money than sense! This guy was pretty far up the pass but not quite to the part where you really want 4x4. Regardless it is not a smooth road and plenty of rocks and holes and dips. People with no other option do take their regular cars, as you can see, but still a Corvette!?!?!?

Enjoyed these gorgeous autumn colors!
Fabulous scenery, beautifully captured! Thanks, Beth.

What road was the Corvette on? I’d love to get back there again in my CJ6 one of these days.
The one going out of Ouray to Imogene Pass, Yankee Boy, Alpine Loop & you can get to Corkscrew all from this road.

Beautiful set! Was that on “Last Dollar Road”?
No this is up to Yankee Boy Basin and Imogene Pass.
Love Ouray and wish I could live there. Great pics btw. I took a trip to Durango one fall and a day trip north which was suppose to go thru Ouray. Stopped there and didn't leave for a couple of days which was too short but I needed to catch a flight in New Mexico. While there I was lucky and ran into a forest ranger who took me all over and showed me everything. Best trip ever! Thanks for the memory.
I tried to pick a favorite but after going through them two or three times decided they were all beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing formation point

Outstanding scenery and photography, Beth!
A really beautiful set! (Yes, the Corvette does seem a little out of place.)
Beautiful fall colors. Very nice landscapes.
A North Texas Corvette club just recently made its way to Ruidosa and points north. The Vette you saw might have been one of the members.
May be a rental! Still, have to agree with your title. Nice clean images, but the dark blue sky seems at odds with the bright daylight. Polarizing filter or a bit pushed in pp? Just my opinion. Adds impact to the shot. Stay well and keep on sharing.

I would think they would have more sense and or like their cars more!
