There’s been a lot of high-rise apartment construction in Chicago since I retired in 2014. Like many hi-tech professionals, I find construction work intriguing. I have been lucky enough to be imbedded with a few construction Crews working around the city. Over six years, I’ve photograph 17 construction sites, some from groundbreaking to topping-off. This has been a highly educational, challenging and enjoyable experience…..and I am grateful to the different Crews that have allowed me to make some artful progressive photographs of their work activities. I am still active with a few sites, although efforts have slowed under current pandemic conditions.
