We are just 10 days past the half-way mark. Can't wait for Day 365 to come... and go.

Uh OH! Number magic. Guilty! I'm found out! LOL!!!

Yes, there be magic done in the numbers, you found out. But, uh oh, not that pedestrian view to the numbers. So lets take a quick look at the 'numbers' then, shall we.

One of the not so understood numbers in use by Pagans is represented in a geometric form or symbol, the Pentagram. I use it all the time. Now you Christian types, calm down, all that sign of the devil stuff has nothing to do with Pagans. Basic corner stone truth about Pagans, they got no figure called a 'devil', that is your teaching, Pagans have no figure called a devil. Sorry!

Back to the pentagram. Pentagrams are represented by numbers in the Pagan world. So pentagram have five points, following from the old teaching, the pentagram has it's values in the circle. First, the start and end is the point of 0/360. Then the pentagram is designated with arcs of the value 72. Thus it follows 0/360, 72, 144, 216, and 288. Oddly enough (just messing with you!) 72 as the first value is 7+2=9, next is 144, 1+4+4=9 (Uh oh, a pattern begins!) then 216, where 2+1+6= 9! Yes, 288 is 18, but half of 288 is 2 units of 144. Now you know why the value of 144 has a special designation in the old times as a gross!

To fully grasp these values one does need to refer back to the image of that symbol the pentagram.

So we have traveled through two (2) of the magic bases of that pentagram. First we have the 72 post, two images of one babe, Debbie Doll, all from the first shoot. Yes she was a girlfriend and she was smoking hot horney girlfriend. She has been in and out of the group of women I have worked with during my travels through the fun world of the Erotic.

The other post was at that second point of the pentagram, 144. So day 144 had two babes with three posts. Implied, yes, but then the action speaks for itself.

So, so that you don't have to go hunting these posts here is Day 72 and Day 144 for you viewing delights.

Oh, when we hit Day 216, I guess there will need to be another super special post.

And for all you numerologist, Day 360 will be the culmination of the series One A Day. Why? Let me paraphrase from the Talmud (you Christians call it the old testament), "I am the one and only true God, and I will have no other Gods before me". A silly boast on the surface, but it is based in the old belief structure that before Venus as a solar body, the earth rotated around the Sun in 360 days, but then the rotation became 365 days. Which is really a simplified ferry tale, it was in reality Marduk destroying Tiamat (see the Sumerian history of our solar system).

I can’t wait for some to quit whining about his posts...if you don’t like ‘em...don’t look. Not all of them are my cuppa tea... it that’s just fine.

I am not whining; I am simply commenting.

I actually get a kick out of his posts. They make me smile and shake my head in amazement (as in "They walk among us?"). Regarding this web site, they lower the bar so that when I see what would normally be considered a so-so nude shot I feel like shouting "Hallelujah, a decent shot posted again." Fortunately we have a few photographers who post images that raise the bar again, which is what this forum should be about -- improving one's photography skills.

I like Timmers compositions, thinking outside the box as he does is quite refreshing. Pushing the boundaries from what we normally expect to see to what we see is different and quite unique.

Timers, I would say the second photo of day 72 in this line of posts is the best photo I have seen of yours.

Here is the link to the post flathead27ford is referring to:

Yes, I did the homework for all of you because I was interested in what flathead liked, and I agree it is a very good shot. Why? The answer is quite obvious when you look at the photo.

If you're one of the serial complainers…then my observation stands…if you're a first timer then no offense intended. I didn't check before I responded before to see if I could figure out which but it sounded like the former from your comment.

Your comment about shaking your head in amazement and "They walk among us?"…seems to be you judging that his images aren't worth posting simply because you don't like them.

Way too many judgmental folk on this forum…I would personally recommend just avoiding his posts if you don't like them…he is as free to take shots he prefers as anybody else and to post them here. I haven't seen him respond that you're just not sophisticated enough to recognize his art…which might be one comeback to your "They walk among us" comment. Just like whatshisname who always drops arrogant ass comments into any discussion about DX vs FF…things like (paraphrased and not a direct quote but I was too lazy to go and find one)…"some of us recognize the inherent superiority of FF in all circumstances, the rest of you are either incompetent, not real photographers, or just don't see the light"…way too many folks with superiority complexes here.

Me…I don't always find Timmer's shots to my taste but some I do…and they're all naked women which is the subject of this forum. But haters gonna hate instead of just letting it go.

Not all of the above may apply directly to you…either way, no offense intended.

The púca (Irish for spirit/ghost; plural púcaí), pooka, phouka is primarily a creature of Celtic folklore.

Considered to be bringers both of good and bad fortune, they could help or hinder rural and marine communities. Púcaí can have dark or white fur or hair. The creatures were said to be shape-changers, which could take the appearance of horses, goats, cats, dogs, and hares. They may also take a human form, which includes various animal features, such as ears or a tail.

The púca has counterparts throughout the Celtic cultures of Northwest Europe. For instance, in Welsh mythology it is named the pwca and in Cornish the Bucca. In the Channel Islands, the pouque were said to be fairies who lived near ancient stones; in Channel Island are corresponding terms in Brittany.

The origin of the name may have come from the Old Norse term pook or puki, which refers to a "nature spirit". Usage of the term in Ireland, however, may predate the arrival of Norse settlers. In Germanic languages, such as Frisian or English, this became pucel, pook or puck. The name of the pooka may also come from the Irish word poc, meaning a male goat, a form the creature is often said to take.

An image or so, with puki.

If your an arm chair alchemist do not make the mistake made by Isaac Newton, there are six colors in sun light, when one combines the six togeather one gets the 7th 'color' white light. The magical photographer refers to this as neutral density. So the separated Poky are six, but the 'mother' poky is the seventh, the source of origin. Newton was a weak alchemist.
