Number three stands out for me. I too am learning from this sight and from those whom it has taught. Hope that was grammatically correct.

Excellent set John - usually I like to see the colors in the birds and color also helps show some details. However, your images show that bird photography can work well in B&W also.

Thank you very much, Elliott. Won't work very well for most birds. Three of these birds are B&W and the other tan, beige and white. The background is Arborvitae (green) and seemed to me to be distracting. The B&W simplified the image and I thought better focused on birds.
