Tonight I setup and aligned my Celestron 11" SCT

Another great shot. The sky here in Grass Valley Ca was just too turbulent last night to get good image. I hope tonight will be better.

I used a Celestron 236C CMOS camera shooting at 40 frames per second last night. I was fighting high upper winds and some of Sonny’s darn smoke particles. I had a very small window that allowed me to actually capture at that rate.
I stacked using Autostakkert2 and ran wavelets in Registax6. Final cropping and tweaks were done in Photoshop CC.

Trying to decide which one I like the best. The C8 or the C11. Both are two of the best I've seen.

My biggest complaint would be the smoke turned the polar caps orange on me.
Such is imaging I suppose.

Nice job, I guess you got a break in the smoke. We have a break, but we have clouds rolling in.
