There were about seventy bulls in the bunch that made a daily migration--out of some big rugged coulees in the evening into some hay fields, then back into the coulee at dawn. They did that in July and August, and now are gone to rejoin the cows several miles away. But they will be back next summer, and I will be watching for them.
Thanks much, Pat. I really enjoyed watching that band of bulls for about seven weeks this summer. Now they have rejoined the cows and calves several miles away, all on private ranches, so I have lost track of them. But they will be back next July again where just the "guys" hang out near a place where I am lucky to have access.
