would like this with a different back drop. The model and the pose as well as the posing are great.

Thanks & Agreed, this Study revealed the changes necessary to best execute the Series.

I define a photographic study as similar to a painting study in meaning. A digital photographic capture, similar to an artists drawing, sketch or painting, done in preparation for a finished piece, or as visual notes.

In my case I often use studies like that above, to explore options that resolve potential problems in rendering the model true to my original concept, and to plan the elements to be used in executed works (the Series), such as light, color or black and white, form, pose, perspective, and composition.

Agreed, and I confess I am often guilty of being too serious about my work preparation in this genre. I’ll offer as an excuse that I’m part Scottish (we are known for our meanness) and Top Models cost serious money, which has to be paid up front, way before I might get paid for my puny efforts. And if I screw up in the Concept, Initiation, Planning, and Execution? Well, I’ve at least doubled my costs and Closed on zero business value. I’ll go out of business if I do that too many times.

You should take your work, and your product seriously. I admire that, but it is not what I addressed.
Have a good day, and stay safe.

She is perfect and the pose if not intentional is outstanding. Great Photograph.

Very nice shot, BB... I also agree that you should get rid of her blemishes.
Rich...

Surely that depends on the model (and photographer)'s wishes. Photographers often look for perfection but sometimes the wishes of the model, who may have even commissioned the session should be considered. She is definitely real.

I like this picture, moles et al, kudos to photographer and model!
