This is an early morning image of a sunrise from Bryce Canyon. It was taken in late winter and the temperature finally warmed up to about 10F when the sun finally peeked over the horizon. It was taken from Bryce Point and the small community to the left of the sun is called Tropic. You can also hike up into the canyon from trailheads just outside Tropic. I hope you all have fun with the image.

Wanted to take out some of the non essentials; but loved that sunrise with the rays. This is what I came up with.

My edits started with Lab Color and finished with Camera Raw filter + Curves.
Photoshop CC
Beautiful scene -- thanks for letting us play with it.
Processed in Photomatix Pro. Removed the distracting tree in the center of the image. Tweaked in PS CS6.
Your photo, my view. Nice photo.
Beautiful image Mike - here's my view:
Nice photo of Bryce Canyon, my view:
Monochrome using NIK software. Thank you for offering this - nice original.
Here is my take on this photo. Cropped to 16 x 9 deleted the dead tree and expanded the sun beam.
Very nice image. I have always wanted to go there. I removed the tree in the foreground, punched it up and did a little noise reduction. Oh and a little vignette also.
