I also use an Op/Tech; mine can "carry" THREE cameras (a 35mm,an APS-C and a medium format film, RZ67). Even with all of that weight, it is actually comfortable.

Looking into getting a camera harness. I go out two camera and am tired of missing shots because I had to changes lenses. I know some guys who use OpTech and some who use Black Rapid. The Black Rapid is the more expensive, about three times as much. Does anyone have experience with either or both and can make recommendations?

www.carryspeed.com has a great product line too.

Their website shows only a single-camera strap. Do they have anything for carrying TWO cameras?

I have had two Op Techs. Second one smaller for micro 4/3rds. Love the wy they don't hang on my neck while having the cam easily at hand.

Yes...the utility loop I posted a pic earlier assuming โ€œtheyโ€ are Op/tech. Each camera gets one connection.

I got the extensions today for mine and they nicely replaced the utility loop. Iโ€™ll get another one for my other strap.

I figured out how to put on the black rapid strap. But on my Z50 the lug interferes with opening the LCD. So I wonโ€™t be using it.

I have several OP/TECH straps, and I like them very much. All of their products snap together with each other, and that's a big advantage. I've found no negatives to their products.

I agree Jerry.

I must be missing something with my Black Rapid sport sling. I use it all the time on a D5. I have not noticed the strap slipping. I have not tried a two camera harness. If I need a second body, I put it in a pouch on my belt with a lens attached.

I have used a Black Rapid on my 5DM4 for several years now and always when i go on photo workshops. It was super on my Cambodia trip, never gets in the way, very fast to swing up to eye view and very very strong. I tried others, this is worth the $$.

Love my Op/Tech sling, but I rarely use it. Instead, I nearly always use my Op/Tech wrist strap.

I keep my camera in a sling bag that holds an extra lens and accessories I use mostly for travel photography. That way my camera's always protected until I need it. A quick zip and I reach in, slip my hand through the wrist strap, pull out my camera and shoot, all within seconds.

When I'm at an event or otherwise when I need my camera constantly over a period of time, I use the quick-connect to swap the wrist strap for the Op/Tech sling.

For landscapes or astro or studio work, I swap back to the wrist strap and use a tripod. And of course the Op/Tech system does not use the tripod socket.

I couldn't have designed a better system than Op/Tech.

I have been using the Optec dual camera harness for many years - my best combo was my Canon T3i w/18-55 set for 8 sec sound movie clips of my 3 day photo trip along with my older Canon rebel with a Tamron 18-200 w/VR- both on this well padded yoke of the Optec harness made switching cameras and caring this weight for long periods of time muck easier.
I have and use the Optec single camera harness with the elastic straps a lot when doing slow driving of back roads - it enables me to drive while wearing the camera held close to my chest ready in an instant.

When not connected to the strap the snap connectors stay in place on the camera. They don't get in the way when shooting off of the strap.

I have a Black Rapid dual harness and it works brilliantly. I've used several other makes and always felt they were lacking in some respects. I carry two cameras at events for up to 10 hours and find them very comfortable. Expensive compared to the rest but well worth it in my opinion.

Is that the BR or the OT strap, in your photo?

https://www.optechusa.com/utility-strap-sling.html

As you can see I'm the wide body style shooter and in the last photo you can see that I extended the strap by adding the extender piece to the unit. I like to carry my gear low and I find it easier to pick up and shoot with the extended strap. I use this strap when shooting semi-pro football from the sidelines and in hockey shooting from the bench.
Seems like there is one problem with all the straps used at the games. I asked other photo guys and they said the same thing, that their strap slips either to the back or chest. Seems like you are walking up and down the sidelines and you keep bringing your camera up and down a bunch of times (400-500)to shoot the strap tends slip.
