Hey, these are very nice! You found some interesting foreground objects to create depth, so I'd say it was a success!
Thanks, I have good coaches here on the Hog.
You found some good spots for interesting photographs and even a hint of blue in one or two of the shots - very good, I haven't seen a blue sky here in over a week with all that smoke residue in the air!

Really nice, Mike. Are there fish in the reservoir? Looks like a nice place for a canoe.
Looks like a relaxing place. Thanks for sharing. My favorite was the wood study.
Nice job Mike - despite the weather you found a way to capture some beautiful images!
You have a good eye Mike - fantastic images!

[quote=UTMike]On our Wednesday Wanders we look for some place we can walk the dogs, cool temperatures and (hopefully) photo ops. Last Wednesday we went into the Uinta Mountains on I-80 east toward Wyoming. Just off the interstate is a reservoir that is a state park. It has camping, hiking and fishing.
Mike, I’m a rookie in the Dallas Christian Writers Guild and am smart enough to guard my comments among those published authors but I”m losing my inhibitions here when I suggest a composition involving pictures 4, 5 and nine. I envy members who have an attractive banner so as much as I would like to incorporate pictures five and nine into your fourth image I couldn’t do it even if I had your permission. Thanks for encouraging my dream.
Nice series, Mike. I really like the one with the boulders.

The day was horrible from a photographic standpoint. No clouds, messy haze of smoke and blah. The hike, however, was very pleasant starting at 42 degrees F and ending just below 60 and not much elevation variation.
Downloads are best, as usual.

While the weathers was lemons, you made lemonade! Great set of images of the park, thanks for the tour.
Great set Mike. I really like the Wood Study, and the shout out to Karen in the Bench photo is very nice of you. Keep on truckin' my friend.
