Excellent. The background provides separation .

Stunning woman, natural light adds to her beauty. Blemishes are real and look natural in natural light. It is an artistic decision that I respect.

Lovely. Show what a great photographer can do.

Moles/spots on the leg are a bit of a distraction, but....
The ones on the torso don't concern me at all.

Thanks for sharing.

Great shot. You posed the model well and character is showing well. A vignette might reduce the distraction of the background. As for the freckles, jewelry &c., you could spend a lifetime and transform the image in so many ways, especially with all of the tools available today but you could also photograph plastic manequins and get the smooth monotone complexion some like! Keep up the good work, stay well and keep on posting!

would like this with a different back drop. The model and the pose as well as the posing are great.

Thanks for the positive comments. In the Series I executed from this (and a few other study photographs; I presented a similar study earlier in this forum), I decided to change the bedspread to a dark burgundy, small pattern cover. This better balanced the Model & Light in the Series and allowed me to get much closer to my original concept in my final execution.

And that’s why photographic studies can be important; it’s not just about model poses and photographer positions for optimum photon gathering on the sensor. 😉

That's a very nice shot, and the background does not bother me at all.

Thanks. The bedspread and pillow would have worked for some of the photographs. However after review, I changed to a darker combination that balanced better with the Model and Light conditions, for the majority of the poses.

To be totally honest, the foreground, not the background, is more bothersome. I realize her moles are natural, but there are only a few, and removing them in PP would make her skin look fantastic.

Understood and I certainly respect your honesty. I didn’t struggle artistically with the moles, and I don’t think I would have had a problem if the Client and/or Model had wanted some of the moles removed.

I confess to having far more problems with tattoos than I have with moles, blemishes, and scars; probably because I’ve concentrated on natural light & natural beauty portraiture for long enough to get a little “set in my ways”.
