A really fine photo. Lots to see there.
Incredible photo. I have to ask, "Why is this building still standing??? One of the best old barn photos I have ever seen.
Outstanding capture !! I see where you are in the vicinity of the bridge crossing the Flathead River towards Bigfork.
Great photo. Where in Montana did you take it?
Beautiful shot with the mountains and sky. It amazes me that this much of the barn is still standing!
Very nice. I like the color one better than the moonlight one you previously posted.

I recently posted an image of a barn in the Post-Processing section to which I tried to give a moonlight effect, and thought maybe that shot in color would give an idea of what the original subject and capture looked like. Here it is, in its own right... and Download really helps...
Beautiful shot. I wonder if they sold off all that siding?

If anything, the only question I'd have would concern the predominance of blue --and that blue's particular hue-- in the sky/clouds/mountains/and distant hill/ridge line of trees that could've been slightly less blue, and maybe a little greener.
First of all, I appreciate all input and suggestions concerning my work. That said, I offer you a special "thank you" for your in-depth and thorough analysis of my image. I am so appreciative when someone takes the time and interest to "get into" the image and offer suggestions that might improve my next shot! I see what you mean about the blues in the image, but we have had a good deal of smoke from forest fires up here, and the ensuing haze seems to give a blue cast to distant mountains and hills. I suppose I could have greened it up a bit in PP but I kind of left it the way it was presented.
As for the cross, this is a local Bigfork Montana icon. It is about 50' tall, and is lit at night. Pilots landing at Glacier International Airport see it and use it as an informal reference. The inscription says, "Christ died for you, will you live for Him?" and was put up and maintained by members of our church a number of years ago. As you can see, it is visible for miles...
And finally, this is indeed near the Sportsmans Bridge crossing the Flathead River and heading into Bigfork. Nice catch, MT Native!
Thanks again to everyone for your kind comments - you made my day!!
