Pretty area. A lot could be done to add drama to this photo. More detail in the clouds and water would add a lot of artistic realism.

I agree with Bob, there's a lot of potential here. Maybe crop out a little of the foreground? JMHO my eye is immediately drawn to the ocean while the lighthouse is kind of a secondary subject. It seems to me that this image has a greater potential in B&W than in color.

Although the retakes are all fine, I do like the original. It speaks "lonely" to me.

Thanks, David. I am always open to advice on how to better my shots and in this case I understood their point. However I agree with you. I liked it because it was more than just the lighthouse.

When I saw it my eyes jump to the foreground so I don’t like the crop. Guess we are all different.
