It ok to trash McCain who was a POW for 5 years and think none of it. I hate that war, I still do to this day but we as America own those people who were in that war. I not just talking words.

Trump is an insensitive jerk. It wasn't a stupid thing to say--it was a stupid thing to think; and totally revealing. He reprehensible trashing of McCain was not a mistake--that kind of stupidity, insecure-based attacks, and insensitivity is his mentality. The words attributable to him in the Atlantic are completely consistent with that mentality. He has affirmed that same mentality all his life.
