Obviously non of these are photographs but are interesting images produced by my daughter Lisa over a couple of years. Strangely they were all painted rather small, only about 4x6 or 5x7. I enlarged them to make 20x30 or larger prints some of which we have on our walls. Enjoy.

Wow. Very talented. If she writes too, she can illustrate her own books.

These are great. How old was she, and is she still producing these lovely paintings?

Now that is something to be proud of - both your daughter and her art, both exceptional!

She is 49 now. She made these about 5 years ago but she is still involved in art to varying degrees. I keep telling her to make some large painting so she can sell them for decent money but for some reason she won't. Another thing she makes which she has sold a lot of are these little painted figurines mostly mantises like this sample but also dragons and cats. She has talent but not much confidence. Unfortunately she seems to want to spend most of her time doing online gaming. As a non gamer myself this seems like a waste of time to me but I guess all of us have our own ways of wasting time.

Those are wonderfully inventive. I get what you say about the gaming, though since I don't indulge in it myself I can't really judge. I don't think I'd be smart enough for it.

Really it is time to get Text and Photos together and have a great book aimed at children but enjoyed by adults.

Hi Dan, to say your daughter is talented is an understatement. She purely has an immense amount of talent. I know where she is coming from when she "down-sizes" her talent. For a long time I felt the same way. I didn't feel that I had much talent. But the Main Reason (which was pointed out to me,) was that I had a FEAR of being SUCCESSFUL!!!
If you would like to PM me, to discuss this further it would be ok.
