From the news yesterday.

Online sellers are barely able to keep up with demand now, so imagine what it's going to be like in November and December.  Shopping earlier than usual would be better all around.

Mice and rats love people.  We provide them with food and shelter.  Unfortunately, it seems that mice can spread covid-19, at least in the lab.

I don't think these are the same as the ones that get into our homes. Anyway, the study mentioned "if you must catch wild mice". Why would anyone be "trying" to catch "wild" mice? Maybe we can avoid them. The only things I can't avoid are gnats and mosquitoes. If they carried the virus, I would have been dead in May at the latest.

They experimented in a lab, and came to this conclusion. As for catching wild mice, that might be someone who is having a dispute with his neighbor.

Another reason for free roaming cats. I never saw a mouse or rat when we had our cat.
