The Passing of Pierre H.J. Dumais

Sandra Dedrick informed me that her husband, Pierre died last week. He was a gifted photographer and a dear friend. According to Sandra, they had gone out for a photo-shoot just the week before. I will miss him terribly.

Pierre was a true gentleman and very talented photographer. We communicated often in my first few years on UHH. I'm saddened to hear of yet another death of a member of our family here.

I don't believe I was familiar with Pierre's work, but if the character in his face, captured by his wife, is reflected in his own photography, then I am sure it is beautiful. Thanks for the post Bob. What was his user name so I can look up his posts?

Beautiful tribute, Bob, to a lovely friend and gifted photographer. I've missed Pierre on UHH and will miss him even more knowing he's no longer with us.
