According to the medical experts any gathering without masks or social distancing can be a spreader event Doesn't matter if it is a protest, a party, a rally, or just a bunch of people hanging out at a bar. Politicizing the science is why the discussion of stupid started in the first place. It isn't left wing, right wing, or any other label you want to put on it. Two sayings come to mind: "Mask it, or casket!" "I'd rather be six feet apart than six feet under." If you want to ignore the science that, for now, is your option. Maybe you'll get a Darwin Award for your reticence. My family has lost three members in the last three months, and the current death toll is over 175,000. So, go ahead, exercise your rights, but stay the hell away from me.

IF this mask-less person has unknowingly contracted covid 19, and IF this person is asymptomatic, it is possible that such a selfish person could end up killing many innocent loved ones, many more than my pistole ever would. Ammo right now is in short supply, but facemasks are available almost anywhere. Wearing one is no more difficult than fastening a seat belt, but I get the feeling that perhaps that isn’t something you practice either because you know better. Smart N UP!

The news yesterday was that several people attended a wedding in Maine a month or two ago, maskless and not social distancing. One person who did not attend the wedding is dead from COVID and 52 others are infected, some of whom did not attend the wedding, but were close to an attendee.
