2. Use a large 14 inch pipe wrench

3. Don't be afraid to use some muscle on that bad boy!

4. Works every time.

I think you forgot the tissue paper on the filter, so you don't scratch it!!

A few rough edges make it easier to get off next time.

Exactly....My old wrench got to be way too heavy to carry around, so I replaced it with a carbon fiber one, all is good

Humph, I have always used an Oxy/Acetylene Cutting Torch.

You are first suppose to soak the whole lens in WD-40 for 5 minutes then it will come off easily. Don't need the pipe wrench!
