These are photos of a beautiful resturant in Middletown Ct. I Drive by it often and keep saying id like to photograph it, Now i finally have, I was happy with the day shot so i went back at night during a rain storm, The night shot was just after the rain stopped. Great timing! I used HDR and then photoshopped to get what i was looking for. Any comment welcome

Great shots, both of them, but I really like #1. Keep up the good work.

HDR overdone...................

I used minimal HDR, but that is your standard answer to most HDR photos. But thanks for looking anyways, I do believe everyone is entitled to have an opinion

Hi Rhodge
You sounded knarky in your reply. You said all comments were welcomed. Don gave you his and yes, he is entitled to have his opinion.
We all go through this phase of overdoing it because it is different and looks spectacular. But after a while, we settle down and use HDR in way that others can't say for certain that HDR has been used.
I like the design and colours of the restaurant and prefer the first image to the second. A little less of the black would make it look better. Alternatively increase the exposure a bit.

It would be the second one.

I used HDR on both, the first one was taken at 11 am and the second one was taken at 9 pm, so I didn't use HDR to make it look like a night shot.
