I recently purchased Denoise AI to replace Denoise 6. I have it set up as a Plug-in in Lightroom Classic. When I go to do an Edit In it opens Denoise AI and wants me to drag a file into it to open it. Previously Denoise 6 would open with the photo already there and ready for adjustments. Have I set up the new Denoise incorrectly or is this the way it works now? I hope I have messed something up since the older version worked smoothly! Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom. I’ve searched the web but haven’t found anything helpful yet.
Tell us how you configured "External Editing" in your LR Classic preferences for Denoise AI.

Mine automatically opens the image I have in LR - but only if I have only one image selected to full screen - not if in multi image library mode.

Uninstall the Topaz plugin and then quit Lightroom. Reinstall the Topaz plugin with Lightroom still in quit mode. After plugin is finished installing you should be ok, plugin should be able to be called from LR.
Thanks for your replies. I figured out the problem. When I set Denoise in Preferences I neglected to change the file type from PSD to TIFF. All is well now!
That should just happen the first time you use it. Drag any photo into the designated spot. You can then play with it to get the feel. After you close it, it should work properly from Lightroom "edit in".
Ron 717 has the best advice. I had the same problem, uninstalled, re-installed and it worked. I also use both DeNoise and Sharpen as filters in PS and they both work seamlessly.
