I watched quite a bit of the DNC this evening.

They seem to be trying to build on the two themes of Covid having been mismanaged and the fact that the country is not united.

The country IS not united. But why?

There is NOTHING President Trump could do to unite the country when much of the country does not want to be united; they are actively working at division.

But neither a President Biden nor any other President could unite the country when our beliefs are so disparate.

* They are for the Green New Deal – I’m not

* They believe in man-made Climate Change – I do not

* They want to close down efficient clean and economical energy sources in favor of unreliable and expensive sources of energy – I find that silly

* They want to make it prohibitive for people to fly, pilot their boat, or drive their car – just, no

* They believe in Open Borders – I do not

* They believe in demolishing everything traditional about our country, language/borders/culture, and those symbols which honor anything traditional – I resent the demolition

* They believe in reparations – I find the prospect appalling unAmerican and unConstitutional

* They cannot redistribute enough wealth for their pet projects – I resent the stealth of another’s hard-earned dollars and the hardship this causes for those on fixed incomes, especially lower middle-class and upper lower-class

* They have no qualms about lying, misrepresenting, mischaracterizing, dishonoring our patriotic President – I find this to be demonic behavior

* They want to defund (“reimagine”) the police – I have the foresight to realize that would be disastrous

* While defunding the police and simultaneously importing criminal gangs, they want to remove the citizen’s right to defend him or herself, gutting our 2nd Amendment rights – obviously, I do not

* They want to import even more “refugees” and people with dangerous mindsets such as Communism or Muslim into America – I think we have too much of that already

* They want to make government schools a monopoly and close down any schools which would provide competition and improve the education available – I don’t agree with that

* They want to have total control over the media, even when they spew lies in tandem

* They want to deprive us of our Right to Worship as we please, and have already deprived us of our Freedom of Association – instead of going further crazy I would return us to America

* They want the government to have control of my health care – yeah, I’m not that stupid

* They want racial based district attorneys who decline to prosecute any crimes by black Americans – I see no future as an integrated civilization when white victims have no hope of justice and blacks can commit violent crimes with impunity (which is basically what is happening now)

How could ANY individual of any party unite the country when the agenda of one party is so overwhelmingly anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-Constitutional, anti-white, anti-Christian, anti-tradition, and essentially, anti-civilization itself? No one could, though I give President Trump props for making all of the right overtures which, in a normal era, would have been well received.
