Over the past decade, I've used Samsung Pro+ (no longer made) or SanDisk Extreme Pro cards. On travel, I take 10-15K photos every year. Never had a problem with either type of card. I do copy the day's photos to a laptop then external drive most every night, then reformat the card in camera. Never had a problem.

Ironic that just a few days ago, I had a Sandisk Extreme SD card that refused to work in my camera (LCD said card error). Well I formatted it and it seems to be working again...
