Been a while since I have posted anything... So here we go -

Tried a new setup with my macro lens -
Basically you can NOT put a 2X Tele on the 100mm L canon F2.8 macro -
The protrusion from the 2X tele hits the back glass. Soooo -
I decided to put a vivitar 13mm extension tube on the 2X tele. Only problem was -
it was a square opening, filed it down to fit the round Tele protrusion ... Fits perfect!
Here's the rig, photo's to come soon -
They are here hopefully, I'm trying and learning!
I love the little things living, especially jumping spiders! when I can find them....
Enjoy - Darren....

All shot with a GODOX flash hand held, with a pancake diffuser that makes me look like a lightbulb...LOL
The dead Bee at my door was a three shot focus stack hand held also. He gave his life so I could eat honey..!!
Been a while since I have posted anything... So he... (show quote)

Not really Macros. Just close ups.

I've been in Colorado winters 11 to -30. You up there are a whole new breed of awesome!
I'm in Fallbrook CA right now.. it has cooled to 91 with 85% humidity as of the moment... WTF..??
Camera is stored properly in the safe........
Where the hell is 72 and blue..?? Gnight all ya all...

Get some good Elk for me this winter if it ever gets here..!

Darren, good advice. Macro lens with a D500 manual focus burst, you can do a lot of back and forth...

It is fun to improvise. I wonder if the humongous hood gets in the way at times.
